"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have separated His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2
Sin is a serious matter.
Jesus' death on the cross makes this clear.
But God's love for sinners also made itself clear when His purchased their salvation with the pure blood of His only Son, Jesus Christ.
Many things have changed, but not God's mind regarding sin.
It still separates sinful man from Him, but He so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever receives Him as Savior and Lord WILL NOT PERISH, but will have eternal life.
An ancient truth with a present urgency to believe and receive.
