"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed". Prov. 15:22

With question, final decisions may be declared by a voice of one, but "successful" decisions many time are the result of the counsel of  many advisers.

Perhaps you are thinking, "been there, done that" both successfully and not so well.

Chances are you recognize the verse as counsel from wise King Solomon.

Knowing something of his life one may conclude he was speaking from experience; resulting in embarrassment and shame as the direct result of him not taking his own advice.

January often brings what appear to be real "opportunities".

If it has for you, heed Solomon's wise counsel and give a trusted friend the opportunity to share his or her thinking on your "idea".

It could result in great gain, the most important of which could be a deeper relationship with your "advisor".

PLUS A RENEWED RESPECT FOR DOING WHAT GOD HAS SAID IN HIS WORD.
