"Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and will all your strength." Mark 12:29-30
The Lord didn't leave us much "wiggle room" to squeeze in 'another god', did He?
When I read that there are 1,800 "persuaions"; some called gods, whom some insist on worshipping, I "scratch my head" wondering where on earth these "imaginary" creature came from. That is, until I realize afresh that Satan is the "author of confusion".
One cannot read the Scripture, printed above, and miss seeing that it is a quote from God Himself, and just as clear as the noonday sun.
He, ONLY, is God, and there is no other.
How grateful we ought to be that He has taken all the confusion away, even to the point that when Jesus came He said, "I and the Father are ONE. There is no other God."
Tell you what.
Just accept the fact that Satan is a liar, and that God Jehovah is for real.
When you get to heaven you'll find Him there, and Satan will be totally OUT OF SIGHT.
