"The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the eternal arms." Deut. 33:27
This statement was one among many given to Israel by Moses as he approached the end of his leadership of them before joining God for eternity.
Perhaps you have experienced, or heard of one, privileged to be present with a loved one just before his or her death. Most can quote those words, because they are precious thoughts..
The words spoken to Moses were passed on and continue until this day among our Jewish friends who understand that Jehovah God is their refuge and strength. It is the thing that is keeping them faithful to Him in these trying times in Israel. And they will not vacillate.
America could learn a great lesson from Israel today; number one being to keep the faith.
Unfortunately we have drifted far from being "One Nation Under God" to having become one nation of many gods.
This can change. God said so.
"If my people, who are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and forgive their sins, and heal their land." 2 Chr. 7:14
